Danby Lodge is located nearby to the quaint village of Danby, only a short 30-minute drive away from the vibrant city of Middlesbrough and 20 minutes from the beautiful seaside town of Whitby.

The Lodge is easy to find and access via the main road between Middlesbrough and Whitby - the A171.

Just enter Danby Lodge into your sat-nav and you will be led to the right place.

Please make sure to drive carefully along the roads to and from Danby. The roads are free from street lighting and there may be wildlife such as sheep and rabbits on or nearby to the road.

Once you have arrived at Danby Lodge, park in the main carpark. You do not need to pay for parking during our events. Once you have parked, carefully make your way across the road and walk through the main entrance gate (the gate with a wooden archway). The Danby Dark Skies Station is the building at the lower end of the grounds, opposite the main building and is on your left when entering from the main gate.
