Welcome to our website! Astro Dog is a small astronomy and astrophotography business based in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. We run public stargazing events held at Dalby Forest, set within the heart of the International Dark Sky Reserve of the North York Moors National Park. 1 of only 21 International Dark Sky Reserves in the world! We are passionate about astronomy, astrophotography, our dark skies and teaching people about the wonders of the universe.

We offer educational sessions for schools, scouts and guides and other groups. With talks, presentations and planetarium dome films covering many different subjects, plus practical solar/stargazing sessions, we can cater to all ages and group sizes.

All our public events can be booked as private events. Whether you would like a personal guided tour of the night sky or instruction on the use of equipment, we can cater to your wants. If you would like something more bespoke, we can tailor events for private hire.
